FHI HEAT’s Runway Named “Best Flat Iron” by InStyle for Second Consecutive Year in “Best Beauty Buys” Issue.

FHI Heat, the hair industry’s leading innovator in ceramic, tourmaline and Nano-Fuzeion technologies, announces that its Runway styling iron has been named “Best Flat Iron” by InStyle for its “Best Beauty Buys” April 2009 issue. The magazine features the Runway in both its print issue and online at www.instyle.com. This represents the second straight year the Runway has received this distinction.

“We are deeply honored to have received this prestigious recognition once again,” states David Kim, CEO of FHI Heat, Inc., global manufacturer of professional hair tools. “FHI Heat continues to receive accolades from the industry’s top hairstylists working in the U.S. as well as Canada, the U.K., Europe, Australia, South Africa and Latin America, where our products are distributed. It’s very rewarding to know that the Runway styling iron has been positively experienced by so many hairstylists around the world.”

Like all FHI Heat styling tools, it also employs proprietary Nano-Fuzeion technology, which is a unique combination of Nano-Titanium, Nano-Titanium Oxide and Nano-Silver particles. Together, the triple function of the Nano-Fuzeion technology removes bacteria, toxins and static, producing superior conditioning and shine, while providing unmatched health and purification benefits for the hair.

The FHI Heat Runway Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Styling Iron FHI HEAT’s Runway Named “Best Flat Iron” by InStyle Magazine has a remarkably wide temperature range, going from 140º F to 450º F degrees, making it ideal for all hair types. Other features include: six hand-baked, hand-fused solid 1″-wide ceramic plates covered by a large quantity of crushed tourmaline crystals, which makes this iron more potent in producing greater amounts of far-infrared heat, which gently heats hair from the inside out to minimize heat damage. With the aid of the tourmaline crystals, these irons produce more negative ions, helping break water molecules and allowing hair to be conditioned from the inside out. Additional benefits include: curling hair with the beveled edges of the ceramic plates; ultra-rapid heating; damp to dry styling; protecting color and preventing color fading; sealing the cuticle to lock in moisture and repel humidity, which helps eliminate frizz.

Products offered by FHI Heat include blow dryers, styling irons, curling irons, razors, heat-activated conditioners, styling clips, carbon combs, shears, brushes and a chemical straightening system. The new technologically advanced FHI Heat products are available at fine hair salons and professional beauty retailers nationwide, via toll-free number at 877.FHI.HEAT (877.344.4328) and online at www.fhiheat.com. Trend Alert: Giraffe Print Handbags

Written on March 11th, 2009 by shirazno shouts

They’re hot and they’re everywhere! Spring hasn’t even begun yet, but it seems like everyone has a giraffe print handbag.

ebb24 giraffe 300x300 Trend Alert: Giraffe Print HandbagsI’ve noticed in the past week or so that giraffe print handbags are definitely the biggest trend in handbags right now. I never expected that!

I’ve seen everything from teens to middle aged women with giraffe print bags in a variety of different sizes. The most popular shape seems to be the hobo. A great giraffe print, mid-sized hobo is the perfect addition to your Spring wardrobe. This bold print goes well with office attire and weekend casual wear. It blends easily into almost any outfit.

The only thing I would avoid wearing when using a giraffe print bag is floral prints or stripes. Stick with neutrals, neon color accents, bold accessories, and sleek lines.

Handbag Heaven has quite a few giraffe print handbags to choose from for under 0!

Sexy Swimwear For Spring Break 2009

5d90e papara tahiti 2 199x300 Sexy Swimwear For Spring Break 2009Stand out apart from the crowd on your vacation or during Spring Break this year in gorgeous and totally unique swimwear from Adjani Couture.

About a month ago, I was contacted by Adjanys Marrero, a single mom, now a stay at home mom who used to work as the Director of Photography for Dillards Sexy Swimwear For Spring Break 2009. She recently started a fabulous crocheted swimwear collection. She told us, “I was looking for swimwear that was sexy, felt comfortable and was different.” We think she did a great job of doing just that!

Adjanys Marrero started the trend of crochet fashion in the Tampa Bay Area and has made her sense of style and fashion available to women throughout the world.

I just had a baby and wanted some of my imperfections camouflaged! Some of the suits are small and fun, but I would like to think we offer a little bit of everything for any woman.

Adjani Couture is sexy swimwear suited best for women ages 21-45.

5d90e boca sami curacao yel 199x300 Sexy Swimwear For Spring Break 2009I was going to post a picture of myself in this bodacious swimsuit, but didn’t think I looked as good at this cute model.

I thought that crocheted swimwear would stretch out easily and not fit well, but I was wrong. I love the Boca Sami Curacao Hand Crochet Triangle Top and String Bikini that they sent to me to try out. I think I need to lose another 5 pounds before I look really good in that swimsuit, but I was surprised how well it fit and the overall quality of the garment. It’s available in a variety of beautiful colors like coral, yellow, teal, purple, brown, and more. I guarantee you’ll have a hard time deciding which color to choose!

Looking through the other styles in the 2009 Travel in Technicolor collection, I also really like the Safi, a retro style one-piece. Cute one-piece swimsuits are really hard to find, but Adjani Couture makes several very attractive ones.

Overall, I think their crocheted swimwear is absolutely fabulous and fun. If you are a daring girl that’s looking for something unique and bold to wear this summer or while on vacation, then I urge you to check out Adjani Couture.

I’m Loving NUBAR Nail Polish – Corals Collection

Written on March 6th, 2009 by adminno shouts

I recently found another nail polish line that is free of Formaldehyde, Toluene or (DBP)Phthalate. Those three ingredients are contained in most nail polish lines and are linked to cancer and birth defects. Read more about that here.

Nubar is yet another company that has chosen to ban these 3 harmful chemicals from their nail polish and the result is nothing short of amazing. They have an amazing selection of gorgeous eye-catching colors that you won’t be able to resist.

I recently decided to review the Corals Collection, which includes 8 bottles of breath-taking colors including Red Sea Coral, a bright pink-red, cool tone inspired by the Au Favites variety. Cayman Coral, a bright red-orange warm tone inspired by the Sea Fan variety. Costa Rica Coral, a bright tangerine colored warm tone inspired by the Ricordia variety. As well as 5 other shades.

532fa smoky eye 242x300 Spring 2009 Makeup Trends: Smokey EyeI got the Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liner for Brown Eyesicon and was pleasantly surprised with the color selection. There are 9 colors in total, 3 that are supposed to be used as liners, but can also be used as eyeshadow. I think you can create more than 3 different looks with these fabulous shades though.

I was only slightly disappointed that there were 2 shades of silver/gray, both of which were so similar, you wouldn’t really be able to tell the difference. I think they should have replaced one with a warm gold color…
