The spicy buxom babe of Tollywood Namita is playing Police Officer role in her latest film ‘Desadhrohi.’ Veteran actress Vijaya Shanty who successfully branded the Police Officer role with her superb acting, in her super hit film ‘Kartavyam’, sets a high standard for it. If, any heroine dares to do the same role, people and Media expect the same performance and compares with her film.

Recently, when media asked Namita whether she can achieve the standards set by Vijaya Shanthi, she harshly replied that, ‘I need not to compete with her, or need not imitate her. I do my best. More over she is not my role model. I am doing this film, because I am inspired by IPS Officer Kiran Bedi, and not others like Vijaya Shanthi or so.

Shooting of Oye directed by Anand Ranga and produced by DVV Danaiah under the banner of Universal Media with Siddharth and Shamili in the lead is almost complete, but for the canning of Three songs.

Producer says, “Presently, we are undertaking dubbing works. Of the balance three songs, two are being planned to be shot in Australia, while one would be choreographed in Chennai during the first week of May. We have plans to release the audio in the first week of May and release the film in the first week of June.”

Earlier, Asin was preferred by Producer Madhu Mantena of Geetha Arts (Producer of Aamir’s Ghajini). But then, as the producer of Telugu version M Shyam Prasad decided to make his entry into Bollywood remaking this film, Asin was dropped from the option. Sonu Sood, who donned baddie role in Telugu version, will be performing the same role in this remake version too.
