Sneha has done a cameo in Veyil director Vasantha Balan`s new film for Ayngaran International`s Angadi Theruvu. After his Veyil was screened at the Cannes in 2007, a lot is expected from Vasantha Balan. The film has newcomers in the lead.

Mahesh, a volley ball player, makes his debut as hero opposite Katradhu Thamizh fame Anjali, with director A Venkatesh playing a pivotal role.

The film’s dialogues are written by the famous novelist Jayamohan, and music is by G V Prakash. “Angadi Theruvu has emotions, love, doubts and a lot of human feelings . Just like every house has a tale to tell, so does every street,” says the director.

ASAL which is the much hyped movie of Actor Ajith has selected its second heroine. some sources close to Saran who is going to direct this movie has opted for Mamta Mohan Das this tie instead of going for another babe. Though it is yet to be confirmed by the director, Mamta is said to be the second heroine in this movie. Some sources report that Mamta has got a meaty role as a second heroine and so she has accepted to do the movie at a cost of just Rs 25 lacs.

Mamta Mohan Das was disappointed by Kollywood and Tollywood movie industries as they were just offering her second heroines roles. But this time she readily agreed to work in ASAL for two reasons. First it was for her favorite her Ajith who according to her has manly looks.

The second reason is that she has been offered a role of her desire and the length is also said to be equal of that of Sameera. It is a fact that Sameera Reddy will act opposite to Ajith and now Mamta Mohan Das will act as a second heroine in the movie.

The movie deals with a subject that of a don and mafia. Ajith is said to don a dual role in this movie which is going to be an action oriented subject.

Actor Madhavan has finally lost out his battle with producer Gaurav Sharma for the film ‘Naan Aval Adhu’. The film being a remake of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Darling’ has been directed by Kona Venkat. With the film’s shooting completed a long time back, Maddy wasn’t paid with his pending remuneration of Rs.60 Lakhs.

When the hand-in-hand tiff between producer and actor went to an extreme, Tamil Nadu Producers Council intervened and favored the case in terms of producers. Much frustrated actor has turned down the offer of dubbing for his voice. With no options left, the filmmaker has planned to carry the task through dubbing artist.

Tollywood’s much-in-demand hot babe Priyamani has denied rumours that Maxim (the UK-based international men’s magazine known for its revealing pictorials featuring actresses, singers and models) has approached her for a photo session. This is response to rumours that she has agreed to pose for their magazine when Maxim staff approached her. “Yes, I’ve heard the news, but the magazine never approached me. I’ve previously been on the cover of many regional magazines and it’s always a pleasure to do exclusive shoots,” Priyamani was quoted as saying.

There was another rumour that Priyamani was promised an additional amount of Rs. 20 lakh for her bikini act in Drona. It was also said that the producer refused to pay the amount, since Drona did not do well. “It’s all false. I’ve received the amount that was promised to me. Initially, the producer was hesitant because Drona didn’t fare as expected, but he later settled the dues. I appreciate his professionalism,” she added.

Priyamani is now excited about her Sandalwood debut with Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar’s Ram, produced by Aditya Babu and directed by Madesh. “We’re shooting at a brisk pace. We are doing three scenes a day and KK sir is very good with the camera. And, of course, Puneet is a fabulous co-star,” she said.

Although, it was off that sort, my characterization had more prominence during latter half. I am not so aged to enact mother’s roles. Herein ‘Singam Puli’, I am offered to perform the role of Cell Phone salesperson.”
